Herbal Mixture

Biomed Herbal Mixture is an alcohol-free sundew herbal preparation with nine herbs, for the respiratory tract and throat. Its versatile herbal formula contains sundew, liquorice and chamomile extracts, as well as six essential oils: peppermint, anise, thyme, clove, lavender and sage.

The herbal extracts are extracted in vegetable glycerine. The product is vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free, with no added sugar.

• Sundew extract (Drosera rotundifolia) – one of the key herbal extracts in the product.
• Liquorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra) – a well-known herbal ingredient that balances the stronger and more bitter flavours of the blend.
• Chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla) – complements the versatile nine-herb formula of Herbal Mixture.
• Essential oils – peppermint, anise, thyme, clove, lavender and sage oils form an aromatic herbal oil blend.

Sundew Herbal Preparation

Food supplement 150 ml

Recommended daily dose:
1 tsp (5 ml) 3–4 times a day. Shake well before use.

The recommended daily dose (15–20 ml) contains:
Sundew extract 375–500 mg (equivalent to 1500–2000 mg sundew herb),
liquorice extract 375–500 mg (equivalent to 1500–2000 mg liquorice root),
chamomile extract 117–156 mg (equivalent to 468–624 mg chamomile),
essential oils 15–20 mg (peppermint oil 6–8 mg, anise oil 6–8 mg, thyme oil 2–3 mg, clove oil 1 mg, lavender oil 1 mg, sage oil 1 mg).

Ingredients:
Demineralised water, vegetable glycerine, sundew extract (Drosera rotundifolia), liquorice extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra), gum arabic, malic acid, chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla), thickener: xanthan gum, peppermint oil, anise oil, thyme oil, preservative: potassium sorbate, clove oil, lavender oil, sage oil.

Contains liquorice – people suffering from hypertension should avoid excessive consumption. Not suitable during pregnancy.
Alcohol-free, gluten-free, vegan and lactose-free. No added sugar.
Made in Finland.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of young children. Store in a dry place at room temperature. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and use within 3 months.

More information about the ingredients:

Anise oil. Obtained by steam distillation from the dried, ripe fruits of anise (Pimpinella anisum L.). Anise oil consists mainly of trans-anethole.

Thyme oil. Obtained by steam distillation from the fresh, flowering aerial parts of thyme (Thymus vulgaris L. or Thymus zygis L.).

Chamomile extract. Made from chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla). Chamomile extract complements the nine-herb formula of Herbal Mixture.

Peppermint oil. Obtained by steam distillation from the fresh, flowering aerial parts of peppermint (Mentha × piperita L.).

Sage oil. Obtained by steam distillation from the aerial parts of sage (Salvia officinalis L.).

Lavender oil. Obtained by steam distillation from the flowering tops of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Mill.).

Clove oil. Obtained by steam distillation from the dried flower buds of the clove tree (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M.Perry).
