Terms of Delivery

Online store

Biomed Oy (company ID 0489145-3) sells products to individuals and companies in Finland (and by agreement abroad). Product prices include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs. If there are obvious typographical, calculation or data processing errors in the price and other information on the Biomed.fi website, Biomed Oy is not obliged to deliver products in accordance with this incorrect information. The customer decides whether they want the delivery with the corrected terms and information.

Ordering

The products are ordered on the e-commerce website by transferring them to the shopping cart and paying for the contents of the shopping cart at the checkout service. All customer information is treated confidentially. The contact information requested in connection with the order will not be used for anything other than the delivery of the order or to resolve any ambiguities, and your e-mail address will be added to our newsletter list, but you can cancel your subscription at any time. When ordering from the online store, you are assumed to have read and agreed to the delivery terms in force at the time.

Payments

Paytrail Oyj is a collecting payment service provider and an authorized Payment Institution working in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Online banking

You can pay with any of the online Finnish banks. Paytrail Oyj or Klarna will appear on your statement as the payee, they will forward your payment to the online business. From the online store, you will be redirected to your own bank to make a payment securely.

Card payment

You can pay online with Visa and Mastercard. The online store uses international authentication services Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.

Paytrail Oyj, Klarna or PayPal appears as the payee on the card statement and forwards the card payment paid by the consumer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form, and card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.

Mobile payments

Mobile payment applications MobilePay, Siirto, Apple Pay and Google Pay enable you to pay for online purchases by online bank transfer or card payment by accepting the payment in the application.

Buy now, pay later

Invoice and installment payment services via Paytrail are provided by OP, Walley, and Jousto. Walley also offers invoice and installment options for business customers.

Order and payment confirmation

After receiving a successful order, the online store will send an order confirmation to your email. To receive confirmation messages, you must provide a valid email address when ordering.

Delivery method, shipping costs & returns

You can see the delivery costs pertaining to your order after selecting your preferred payment and delivery method. You can choose from all available package pick-up points operating in Finland and in some cases delivery directly to your home.

Orders are processed and delivered by our logistics partner 3PLogistiikka Oy.
Orders containing frozen products are delivered directly from our own warehouse.

We also deliver orders to all other EU countries. International orders are and sent via GLS Finland. We are currently not shipping to the UK.

Shipping costs

The delivery fee for pick-up packages is 6,90 €.
When ordering products for at least 89 euros, the delivery fee is 0 €.
Home delivery costs 9,90 €.
When ordering products for at least 129 euros, the delivery fee is 0 €.
Delivery costs to EU countries are 16,90 €, regardless of the order quantity.

Delivery time

We process orders in the order they are received. Depending on the workload at the warehouse (3PLogistiikka), processing speed may be faster or slower than stated. During campaigns, there might be delays in processing orders due to the large number of orders.

If the order contains products that are not in stock at the time of purchase, the entire order will be held until those products arrive at the warehouse. As a rule, products are not delivered separately in backorders.

Order processing:
Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days.

Order delivery:
Depending on the carrier and delivery address, domestic orders are usually delivered on the next business day after processing is completed, i.e. within 1–4 business days.

If the carrier's pick-up point or compartment is full, the carrier will deliver the order to the nearest available pick-up point. If the pick-up address changes, the information will be updated in the shipment tracking and you will receive a separate notification from the carrier.

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been processed, including a tracking code for the package (excluding frozen products orders, family packs of bone broth & gift packs).

We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or any indirect damages resulting from delays.

Returns

Uncollected packages
For packages that are not collected and are returned to us, we charge a 10 € handling fee, which will be deducted from the refund of the order payment.

Resending of the package
An undelivered shipment can be sent to the customer again for a 10 € handling fee. The handling fee is paid before the shipment is re-delivered. Please contact the online store's customer service at info@biomed.fi to receive payment instructions.

Change of delivery address afterwards
If the customer wants to change the pick-up point or delivery address of an already sent order, a service fee of 15 euros will be charged for the change. In this case, please contact the online store's customer service at info@biomed.fi.

Returns
As our customer, you have a 14-day right of return after delivery for unopened and unused products.
Product exchanges are not possible; you will need to make a return and then place a new order.

  • Before returning, please contact our customer service: info@biomed.fi
  • Once you have received approval from customer service, print and fill out the return form, or write the required information on a blank sheet of paper and include it in the package.
  • Write the sender’s details on the package and as the recipient: 3PLogistiikka Oy + Matkahuolto or Posti contract number.
  • Return the products free of charge to the Posti or Matkahuolto pick up point as a customer return.
  • Keep the return receipt you received from the service office for tracking!
  • We will make the refund once package arrives to our warehouse.

    Please note that the recipient of the return shipment must be 3PLogistiikka Oy.

Problem situations

If the product is lost or damaged during transport or does not otherwise correspond to your order, you must notify the parties mentioned in the exchange and return conditions within 14 days of noting the defect. If the package is damaged in the mail, a complaint must be made about the product to the post office immediately.

If the dispute concerning the trade agreement cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).

Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advice of the Local Register Office.(www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
