Broccoli seeds and sprouts contain a lot of glucoraphanin, which breaks down during pureeing into a compound called sulforaphane, which is known to have many health effects.

Broccoli seeds have stored a large amount of nutrients that are needed for the growth of the plant. During germination, moisture and heat initiate processes in the seeds, whereby the content of proteins, vitamins, fibers and trace elements in the seeds increases.
